If you are interested in exploring Joshua Tree National Park or you just want to learn a little about the history of Twentynine Palms this is the place to go. If you're on your way to the National Park through the Twentynine Palms entrance it might be worth the stop to check out this visitors center and all it has to offer.

Joshua Tree National Park- the closest entrance is Oasis Visitors Center, the North entrance of the park in 29 Palms. This entrance is usually less crowded than the main entrance.

This is the other park visitor center. There is a very easy hike out back, the Oasis of Mara.
