It's a good sign when an Italian deli based in Holland is always full of Italians. Great spot for a quick bite if you're in the Dam Square area. I always go for the Mondello sandwich on Focaccia.

This trattoria sells REAL Italian food for a good price. Not for eating in but for take away, a quick coffee to go or eat outside on a bench in the streets of amsterdam.

Avoid all the touristy bakeries in the city center, Caldi e Freddi sell the best sandwiches in the city center!
