Andrew’s home was a great size and he responded promptly, he clearly states that this house is lived in with his family but we were a little disappointed in the cleanliness of the kitchen and the staines on carpets and sofas. His add also needs updating as there are a few things that are different (such as having a cat, although we didn’t mind and he offered to put it in a cat home)
We had a fab weekend exploring Bournemouth and his family home was in an ok location with short drives to the beaches and shops (around 15/20 minutes) I think the overall cost we paid for the weekend was slightly over priced especially if some of this money is for cleaning?

This house was advertised as having all amenities we wanted, hot tub, highchair with straps, fridgefreezer... We felt we paid a premium for NY, and we were happy to do so having everything we wanted . 2 weeks before our stay I enquired about the hot tub, I was told it was no longer up and running. I looked into cancelling our stay at this point, but found we would only get a partial refund. On arrival, at a glance, all was acceptable. then we went to put our food in the freezer, no space for us as it was FULL with the hosts food, so our food got spoilt. This was the same with all the cupboards, all completely full. Went to use a pan, dirty. Went to use cooker,it was dirty. with half not working with the glass hanging out. Then we noticed the dead flies and fithy bin.. Next we went to put our toddler in the high chair, no straps. And upstairs much the same, not dirty but full, even the shower had all their toiletries in. we have contacted host & airbnb but sadly got nowhere.

A real must and bargain for those coming by plane ( Heathrow) or by car (safe parking and no congestion charge to pay) at only 15 mn by train to Paddington station and 30 mn to Trafalgare Square or Westminster and other places. Hanwell station is 5mn by foot from the house.
Andrew's place is not only very well located but it is very warm and cosy too. Modern and well isolated. Spick and span as well.
We felt at home thanks to the many amenities that go with the premices : a very nice kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 3 toilets, a small but nice garden, silent and discreet neighbourhood, the code gate.
Andrew is very reactive but does not intrude.
It is worth every penny.
A billion kudos and I will certainly pass the word to the people I know !!!

We loved staying in Andrew and family's home so much at Easter we came back! Great four nights stay - spotless house, effective fans to keep us cool and great amenities eg cot, high chair, washer /dryer - home from home!
